Concert - "Trzy kolory"

trio trzy kolory.JPG

Trzy kolory is an intimate musical project where Polish jazz meets inspirations drawn from old Polish music and subtle Brazilian influences. The music is deeply rooted in tradition, yet retold through improvisation, sensitivity, and attentive listening to one another. Familiar melodies and motifs gain a fresh sound here, while the whole performance moves freely between structure and spontaneity.

What matters most in this project is the relationship between the musicians. The trio creates its sound through dialogue — responding to one another in real time and leaving space for breath, silence, and emotion. As a result, every concert is slightly different — more of an encounter than a performance of a fixed programme.

The ensemble consists of Rafał Szydłowski (violin), Gustavo de Morais (guitar), and Kasia Eliasz (vocals). Together, they create a cohesive and organic sound in which every element becomes part of a shared story.

Human Portrait

My name is Aleksandra Maj — I am a photographer, filmmaker, and co-creator of the Human Portrait project.

Human Portrait is a social and artistic initiative whose aim is to photograph as many people around the world as possible. The photographs and short video recordings are created in a black-and-white aesthetic.

Thanks to the invitation from CKU – Centre for Counselling and Therapy to take part in the 2nd Symposium, the project will, for the first time, extend beyond the borders of Poland.

It will be an honour for me to photograph all the Symposium participants and to become part of such a unique event.

Four-Leaf Clover - The Fund for the Prevention of Violence Against Women within the Symposium of Polish Women in Ireland is currently being established.

One of the main events organised as part of the fund will be the charity run Run Brave for Yourself, which will take place on 17 October 2026.

The run will be led by Barbara Rąpała and Henryk Szost — marathon runner, Polish long-distance athlete, coach, and former Polish marathon record holder.
