Run Brave for Yourself is a charity running event organised as part of the newly established Four-Leaf Clover Women's Violence Prevention Fund, operating within the Polish Women's Symposium in Ireland.
The initiative was created by Kasia Mikołajczyk and aims to support actions focused on preventing violence against women, raising public awareness, and building a network of support for those in need.
One of the fund's key events will be the Run Brave for Yourself Charity Run, taking place on 17 October 2026 at Bushy Park, Dublin 6.
The event welcomes everyone – experienced runners, beginners, families, and supporters who would like to contribute to an important social cause. Participants can choose between 5K and 10K races, while children will have the opportunity to take part in a 100-metre fun run.
The event will be coordinated by Barbara Rąpała, Sports Coordinator at the Polish Women's Symposium, marathon runner and fitness instructor. We are also honoured to welcome Henryk Szost, one of Poland's most accomplished marathon runners, coach, and former Polish marathon record holder.
We believe that sport has the power to unite people around shared values. Run Brave for Yourself is not only about running—it is about courage, solidarity, and supporting women affected by violence.
